More than 5 million children have learned to read with Hooked on Phonics. We’ve applied our design across the other properties in the series and made some beautiful, fun games that make kids smarter through play!

ECB Dynamos Cricket

A content-rich digital app to support the launch of a new cricket participation programme for 8-12-year-olds.
The Dynamos App teaches kids cricket skills through games and quizzes that they can do at home, without the need for a lot of space or equipment. The app was launched for kids during the COVID-19 lockdown with content to encourage kids and families to stay active, and allowed the Dynamos programme to run as a virtual cricket resource for kids.

Dubit has a world-renowned and multi-disciplinary Research Team at its very heart, conducting quantitative and qualitative research to answer the numerous and varied questions our clients put to us. From audience profiling and market sizing, through to brand tracking studies and sentiment analysis, we have 20 years' experience in the kids and families field.


Facebook Messenger Kids

Dubit was engaged by Facebook to help develop their kids’ strategy, beginning with a deep dive into our Trends data, followed by qualitative research with under 13s and a three day design session in Palo Alto. We helped inform product development from a kid’s perspective.

Mattel Connected Toys

Kids love both toys and tech, but can they (and should they) be combined? 40 families, 40 cameras and a mountain of connected toys later we had the answers Mattel were looking for! We recorded and analysed literally hundreds of hours of in-home play to find out how Mattel could design for the connected generation.
